Service work

Eight jobs, done by our own technicians.

Whether or not the unit came from us. Split, window, floor mounted and ceiling cassette. Inverter and non-inverter. Homes, condos, offices and commercial floors.

Cleaning, in detail

A filter rinse is not a cleaning.

Most of what kills airflow sits past the filter, on the coil fins and inside the blower wheel. Reaching it means taking the unit apart, which is what a teardown clean is.

  • Indoor unit opened and the blower wheel pulled. The wheel packs a felt of dust that a vacuum cannot reach through the vent.
  • Coil fins washed, not wiped. Dirt between fins is what makes the compressor run longer for the same temperature.
  • Drain pan and drain line flushed. A blocked line is the usual reason a unit starts dripping onto the wall.
  • Outdoor condenser cleared. A coil packed with lint cannot dump heat, so the unit works harder outside your sight.
  • Run test before we leave. We check that it cools and drains properly with you watching.

How a job runs

Five steps, in this order, every time.

  1. 01

    Tell us the room

Call, Viber or send the form. Room size, which floor, and whether there is an old unit to remove.

  2. 02

    Site survey

₱500, deducted from the job if you push through. We check the wall, the drain route and whether the breaker can carry the load.

  3. 03

    Written quote

Unit, labour, materials and any excess length, itemised. Nothing gets bought before you approve it.

  4. 04

    Delivery and install

Our own technicians, not a subcontracted crew. Mounted, vacuumed, charged and leak checked.

  5. 05

    Test and turnover

We run it with you, show you the drain line and the filter, and hand over the warranty papers.

Troubleshooting

What the symptom usually means.

Not a diagnosis. It is what we check first when you describe it on the phone.

It runs but the room never gets cold

Most often a loaded coil or blower restricting airflow, which a teardown clean fixes. If it is clean and still weak, the next checks are refrigerant charge and whether the unit is undersized for the room. An undersized unit will run all day and never reach the setting, no matter how well it is maintained.

Water dripping from the indoor unit

Usually a blocked drain line or a drain pan that has silted up, so condensate backs up and spills over the lip instead of running out. Occasionally the unit is pitched slightly wrong. Both are same-visit fixes in most cases.

It trips the breaker

Stop using it and call. This can be a failing compressor, a shorted capacitor, or a circuit that was never rated for the unit in the first place. Repeatedly resetting a breaker that keeps tripping is how a wiring fault turns into a fire.

Loud rattling or grinding

Rattling is usually a loose panel, a fan blade catching, or debris in the outdoor unit. Grinding from the outdoor unit is more serious and normally points at the fan motor bearing or the compressor.

Musty smell when it starts up

Biofilm on the coil and in the drain pan. It is a cleaning job, and it is also the reason to not stretch the interval past about four months on a unit that runs nightly.

It keeps losing refrigerant

Refrigerant is not consumed. If a unit needs topping up again, it has a leak, and charging it repeatedly just pays for gas that ends up in the air. We pressure test to find the leak first and quote the repair against the cost of replacement.

Book it

Describe the problem. We will tell you what it usually is.

Call, Viber, or send the form with the brand, the horsepower and what it is doing. We are open every day from 7am to 10pm.
